Frequently Asked Questions About Eagle’s Landing

About Our Camp

Tuition rates are based on the grade your child is entering next fall. For campers age 3-5, we offer a 3, 4 or 5-day option. If you have any questions, please call the camp office at 732-821-9155. We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or personal checks. Click here to see our Tuition Rates and Click here to enroll today with our online form.

As a reminder, day camp tuition is eligible for child care/dependent care reimbursement through your employer or as a straight deduction on your taxes. Most camp families take advantage of this and many pay less than 50% of their tuition out of pocket.

Our camp day runs from 9 am until 4 pm.

We keep camp tuition low by allowing parents to drop-off and pick-up at camp. Parent drop-off is from 8:15 – 8:45 a.m. and pick-up is from 4:15 – 4:45 p.m.

While transportation is not included, we do offer 3 options for an additional fee. All of the options must be selected for your entire enrollment period.

At Eagle’s Landing we focus on keeping our groups small in combination with a mature staff. Children in pre-kindergarten are in groups no larger than 12. Campers in second grade and older are in groups no larger than 14. As children grow older the groups remain small with a 1:6 supervision ratio. Campers are grouped based on gender and the grade they are entering next fall. While Counselors in Training (CITs) are working with most groups, they are not counted in our supervision ratios.

Yes, we offer extended hours for families who are not able to be at home for the bus during normal pick-up or drop-off times. Click here for more info.

We always have a Registered Nurse on staff during the camp day in our Wellness Center. A pediatrician is on call.

We love birthdays at Eagle’s Landing! Every camper is brought in front of the camp during our morning gathering and the entire camp sings our special birthday song. In addition, every birthday child will receive a special button and a birthday treat for their group during lunch.

We offer a full-day program for ages 3-15 (entering 10th grade).

In addition, for campers ages 3-5 (entering kindergarten) we have a half-day option along with a 3, 4 or 5-day option. Campers in grades 6-10 participate in our trip program each week.

We also offer a Leader in Training (LIT) program for campers entering 9th grade and a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for campers entering 10th grade.

Eagle’s Landing has an open visiting policy. You may visit camp most days between 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. Please call ahead to check your child’s schedule. When you arrive at camp, please park in our paved front parking lot and come to the main office for a Visitor Pass. Our office staff will verify your security password (provided on your Camper Profile form) and ask for photo identification before we issue a visitor tag. We will hold your identification and your car keys until your visit is over. The security of your child is our primary concern, so please bear with us in showing identification each time you visit. We ask that you limit your visit to 30 minutes per child as to not disturb the groups. Check our weekly camp newsletter for specific information on visiting.

Please note, the safety of our campers is our #1 priority. We ask all visitors to report to the Camp Office to sign in and receive a “Visitor” name tag. Upon departure, each visitor will report back to the office to sign out and return the name tag. The office will hold your car keys and driver’s license for security reasons during your visit.

For safety purposes we insist that you refrain from visiting the first or last week of camp, on rainy days, or special event days.
