Kiddie Kingdom

Programs

Our youngest campers, 3 to 5 year olds, are part of our Kiddie Kingdom Program. At this age, we see so much growth in our campers in their ability to communicate and share. They learn to swim, develop fine motor skills and use their imagination while playing with their friends.

Kiddie Kingdom groups have 10 – 12 campers with at least two counselors. The staff who work with this age group are high school and college students majoring in early elementary education. The Kiddie Kingdom supervisors who oversee this division, or Division Leaders, are certified teachers who work in local school districts.

The activities vary daily, and include two swim periods as well as sports, art, science, baking, cooking, free play and so much more. The swim instructors and lifeguards for our aquatics program are trained by the American Red Cross. They earn their Water Safety Instructor certification, which qualifies them to evaluate each camper’s progression and instruct accordingly.

Many campers in this age group are still acclimating to being away from home, and this may be your child’s first experience at camp. We offer flexible enrollment that offers 3, 4 or 5 days a week, as well as a full-day or mini-day option. The full day program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Mini day is from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The best way to learn about our program is to come to camp and check us out in person! We’re happy to show you around and give you a sample schedule of their day. Click here to schedule a tour.
